Coronavirus...post your thoughts here...

Because it's already more widespread in the community than it was originally so it's a larger chunk of the population to spread it. I think I saw an article that said they'd identified around 1500 carriers that started the first wave in Britain. There are now thousands more cases so if the second wave starts then its starting with many more carriers to spread it.

Well how are they defining the word wave?
A second wave at the beach won't make the original sand the first one hit any wetter just the drier sand further in..

Well like I said a month ago when I was walking to a nearby garage to get my car in for its annual road worthy test, I saw a lot of disposable gloves thrown out on the street... The numbers of dispoable items in the cming months are going to be in the billions in addition to the plastic waste already out there.

I work at a truck stop, in a state where masks are mandatory in a store unless you have a medical condition (or just say you do). My boss ordered $3000 in disposable masks, for us to give to people for free. Then they can not use the excuse of leaving it in the truck or not having one. Then we won't get a hefty fine for not enforcing the mandate.

We now have to sweep the parking lot after every shift in order to pick up the masks people have thrown on the ground. It's not like we don't have garage cans EVERYWHERE. Just put them in the trash!

Lazy of them not to put them in the bin

I've tried to stay out of this discussion, but something has irked me since all this started:

I don't believe the numbers one bit. They are artificially inflated and outright lied about. I keep hearing about case after case of people dying with the cause of death being listed as coronavirus, yet the person had a heart attack or was in a motor vehicle accident. Or how they include probable, but unconfirmed, cases in their numbers. You have a headache and the sniffles? CORONAVIRUS! It's actually allergies or the common cold, but it's counted as another case of coronavirus. Plus the tests are very inaccurate. Our own governor, Mike DeWine tested positive recently only to have multiple other tests come back negative. Yet he'll be counted in those number of positive cases regardless. No, I believe this is overhyped and is being used as a test bed for many things, such as moving on to digital currency where they can control every aspect of your finances. And you can't tell me this isn't going to be exploited to try and sway the elections this fall.

I still wear my mask in public and use my sanitizer like a good monkey even tough I think it's by and large a farce.

I do agree. Right now Socialism is being pushed. Next, it will be Marshall Law. This is a lot of hype to control us. Yes, we have a virus but who really started it? Is there really a vaccine being held back? Our Government has become as crooked as they can get. If you read Revelations, these are all signs of of what prophets predicted 2,000 years ago. We are very close to the end, IMO.

I think the Earth is a gonna, humans have messed it up too much. Nobody wants to take the tough decisions in government to help it because that would be too unpopular.
