Now everyone can look like a bandit. I wanted a medieval plague doctor mask but apparently they scare some people so much the police get called.

oh well it was in the news the other day a masked person went to steal some stuff in a shop.

You mean this mask?

I provided the link, to prove my statement. And as I said, I drink maybe 2 sodas a week (Usually only one) and they are always Sprite - one of the more healthy sodas.
Well, you’re just so much better than me then, aren’t you? Hats off to Pheonx! :yahoo:

I drink water between meals (tea with sweetener with meals). 20 years ago I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and am still controlled by diet only. No food containing added sugar or high in fats, that's why I am still not on medication.
Because I have not eaten any chocolate or cake or biscuits/cookies for 20 years, my tastes gave changed. If I try diet versions of drink all I can taste is sweetness
So I stick with water.

My grandmother and her sister were very close and they lived in streets next to each other, so my father and his cousins were brought up like brother and sisters and I called them aunt. One of them married a man who developed type 2 diabetes and would not follow his diet. My aunt had to follow him round and confiscate his food. By the time he died he was on insulin; he'd already had one leg amputated for gangrene and had gangrene in the other but was too weak to survive surgery.
With a role model like that, you can see why I stick to the diet.

Carbonated drinks are bad for me. Once in a while I drink them anyway. Sugar is bad for me. I put sugar in my tea anyway. Watching TV is bad for my brain. Occasionally I watch TV anyway. Bacon is bad for me. I would eat bacon pretty much every day if Mrs. Badger would let me. [we need a bacon emoji on this forum] I also run, and build things, and eat lots of veggies and healthy meats, and exercise my brain with creative stuff. Running too much is bad for me, too. So is doing too much creative stuff if it means I neglect other important things. It's all about balance.

Ya makes your choices and ya takes your chances. None of us are getting out of this alive, but you should make the best of the time you're given. Now quit arguing, you darn kids, or I'm gonna stop this car!
