do cories sleep and rest together? my spotted cories just sleep wherever and the green cories slep right next to each other every night and every time they rest... coincidence? or are they just a couple

Corys are communal fish and they like to hangout together, they typically prefer to be in groups of 5 or more. Corys are quite active but they also take the time to rest as well.

I had two albino cories and they would always sleep next to each other, they are very social after all

They all vary and some sleep in groups and others sleep by themselves. Quite often friends will sleep next to each other and they usually stay together during the day when moving around. Other fish might hang out in the group when feeding or moving around but sleep on their own.

Some fish sleep on their belly, some sleep on their back, some sleep on their sides, and some sleep in a head down, tail up position. It just depends on the individual fish.

yeah they all get along and sleep in the wide open area togethher but the green cories sometimes even are like overlapping each other its funny.
