There is a virus that causes spinning in cold water fish in North America - maybe not something Colin would see in Australia. I haven't heard of it affecting tropicals though.

Snails aren't like cockroaches. They're like earwigs.

I like that attitude. He survived. The world went on, and he died in his eighties. I'm not worried about swimming. And the world won't end if we do. Fish will still whirl.

I'm an optimist.

If we end (and it's my opinion we will by 2050), the rest of the world will die with us. The temperature is going to kill everything that can't deal with the heat. We regularly have 45C temperatures during summer now, this was unheard of 30 years ago. In 20 years time we will have 60C temperatures and nothing survives that. The native plants in the bush are dying now due to lack of water. I have had plants boil while in pots outside my back door. The temperature gets so hot they literally boil inside the leaves. The carbon dioxide (CO2) levels are going up rapidly and when it gets to a certain point, we all die from CO2 poisoning due to lack of plants, trees and phytoplankton. And when things start dying, they release more CO2, which speeds up the process.

If we (the human race) survives the next 30 years, the world will be a completely different place to what it is now. And I would say the population will be significantly less than it is now. Billions of people are going to die in Africa, India, Asia and anywhere it gets hot and dry, or there are cyclones/ hurricanes.

He not always vertical, but spends more time on the top 1/4 of the tank, than it does on the bottom 1/4 of the tank, like the rest of the Cory’s do

My angels… the darker one is mentally deficient… they were actually fighting the other day, for the first time I’ve ever seen… and been hanging out since maybe the darker one stood up for itself, and they are good now they have been together for over a year
