Concern About Betta

Hi,

Today I noticed a kind of thin little brownish worm-like thing hanging down from under the body of my betta. It is sort of hanging down under the head area.

I don't know what ti is, but whatever it is, it wasn't there last night, and I haven't seen anything like it before sicne owning my betta.


Does anybody have any idea what this could be?
Should I be concerned, and is there anything I can do?

Or is it something not to worry about that will go away naturally?

It sounds like you just caught your betta going to the toilet.

You're welcome - it isn't where you'd expect them to 'go' from... their stomach is very far foward.
