Coldwater Minnows With Fantails?

hi, i have got a coldwater aquarium with 2 fantails in. However they look a little lost as it is a huge tank. I am thinking about adding a few coldwater minnows. Is it ok to mix fantails with minnows?

My goldfish ate my minnows. Just be careful. If your goldfish are big i wouldnt personally mix them again

How big are your goldies and the tank.
Ive kept fantails with minnows successfully and didnt lose any. You may have a problem in the beginning with the fancies trying to catch them but they soon give up. Make sure you have hiding places but if they are continually having to hide then its not fair on the minnows to be scared all the time.

Yeah the fancy goldfish should be ok, i kept danios and wcmm's with mine.

But regular goldfish would eat them all in no time.

i keep White cloud mountain minnows with fantails and they seem fine.

I had minnows in with calicos orandas and common goldfish, my commons never bothered with the minnows, abd i had the minnows about a year...
