Now THIS thread I like Pod coffee, espresso, fancy coffee shop coffee, cheap fast food coffee, old burned gas station coffee, even the other kind of gas station coffee where it's like a soda machine and you press a button and what comes out probably isn't actually coffee...yes please.
Just so long as it isn't light roast. Light roast is gross.
I'm going to fess up to being a pod user, although I wasn't for a long time. There are a lot of bad pod types too - and it's really hard to get just one to try so then you have to suffer through the remaining ones if you chose poorly and don't want to waste it. But, there are some tasty ones though (to me at least). I started using pods when I got really bad joint problems in my hands and couldn't clean my French press easily. Also they're convenient when you've got exactly 2min between meetings and want something hot without a fly that decided to go swimming in the pot.
When I want a mule-kick-in-the-head type of coffee I still pull out a French press. I've got a double-walled metal one that keeps the heat in really well. Since my hands are better these days I've also been wondering about getting a moka pot.
