Does any one have any experience with these CO2 level indicatore/test kits.
Thanks

Dupla Permanent CO2 Test
This small CO2 test indicator fits inside the tank with part of it under the water. The reagent within the test reacts with the water to give a colour change within the tester which indicates the level of carbon dioxide within the tank water

Permanent test should be refilled at least once a month

Supplied with 10ml of Reagent, and colour indicator

Dupla Permanent CO2 Test £15.18

JBL Permanent CO2 Test Set
Permanent indicator for CO2 content and pH in freshwater.

JBL Permanent CO2 Test Set £10.69

These test kits are Ok as long as you realise that they only give an aproximate indication to CO2 levels. I use one at each end of the tank. The only reason they are fitted is that it gives me a rough indication that the CO2 content is level throughout the tank and it would also give me a quick indication if the CO2 content greatly changed. The operative word being greatly changed as they are not very accurate at all. As long as you know the colour that it is when the CO2 is setup correctly, then they can be useful. But they in no way replace either testing the PH and KH or using a dedicated electronic CO2 tester. They can be useful, but do not rely on them. Hope this helps
Ian.
