Tank took nearly 48 hours to clear but I now have to clean the inside of the glass as it's left a thin layer on it.

So for anyone that's thinking of topping up their substrate just remember you'll be left with a filthy tank, filthy powerheads, filthy LR and a filthy skimmer afterwards.........actually pretty much everything will be covered.

Next time I'll use a funnel and a bit of hose I think.
