Hi all.
Today I added about 2 - 3 KG of aragonite sand to top up my substrate. Without using my noggin, I literally just grabbed hand fulls of it out the bag and carefully placed it on top of the existing substrate to....ahem!..stop it getting cloudy!lol
Anyway the tank is no longer visible and has been this way for the past 6 hours although it is starting to clear!...........very slowly!
Can anyone give me a rough idea of how long it could take before it comes crystal clear again? I know it varies on tank size, amount of substrate added etc but just wandered how long I give it before I start panicking! lol
Cheers!
Changing the subject! Is it sad of me for wanting to start a small salty setup, removing some of my cured lr for a while so I get 'die off' just so I can experience a cycle in a marine tank! lol
