i currently have a 4 ft tank with 2 18cm+ green severums, 2 adult lionheads with 3 juveniles, 2 angelfish, couple of barbs and swordtails.
someone is selling some juvenile demasonis. my question is can you mix these with the fish already in my tank?

No, no and no again. Your stocking is poor as it is, also P. demasoni come from extremely different conditions to the rest and have very different requirements.

well its a very peaceful tank. the green sevs would not eat any baby fish.

The water requirements are too different.

It will be a peaceful tank until the day you come home to dead fish.

Agreed.
Adding demasonis to your set up is not a good idea.
For one, mixing SA and Malawi Cichlids is not fair on either. Different diet and water requirements.

Also, the damesonis should be kept in groups of 10+ in a tank filled with about 1/3 rock.
