ok you lot im building a new pond ,internal dimensions are 10ft by 5 ft and im aiming at between 3.5 and 4 ft deep
so im reckoning a 6x4m liner is gonna do the job with a foot and a half spare on the length and not much left over on the width could do with confirmation before i place the order as its an arm and a leg for that size

hi bribones.
Youve helped me out a few times in the past....my turn to help you....lol

I think the size of liner you will need is.....18ft.x11ft.

While im here bribones,i see you already have a pond (and i would imagine more experienced than me),but would just like to have your opinion on "frogs in the pond"
Do you have any??
Do you mind them being in there?
Personally,i cant stand the bl**dy things, and it looks like the ones i have in there now are stirring up the "sediment" on the bottom of the pond.(going to give it a "vac." in the spring)
Oh well.....was just wondering :dunno:

Do either of you know what's the biggest liner you can buy?

We are making the pond bigger this year, never saw any frogs in our pond george.

Hi cat :kana:

Just been looking at a website www.bendpondliners.com (american i think).who can supply pond liners up to 2 acres.

How bigs your garden cat???

Wonder if my parents would go for that (2 acres) wouldn't like to see the price.

Hey did u ever get the frog ring tone?

No i never did get that ringtone, but im upgrading this week to a phone with "bluetooth" so maybe one of my m8s will be good enough to send it to me. :hey:

I'll send it you ,it depends if it is compatable with your phone ;)

good guess george/ade

18x13 5+4+4 =13
10+4+4=18

allowing for a couple of inches over

cat id check out e-bay theres some good deals on there for liners and you can contact the sellers to ask about larger sizes,a lot of them are welded to make them larger and the prices are great

frogs ,,i wouldnt have them ,1 samanella *sp and 2 the buggers breed like hell ,my ponds raised to keep the little #:mad:Ts out ,i was offerd some last year but said no way keep em ,dont mind toads running round the garden ..did i say garden haha it looks like a building site

new ponds going to be made from 9" wide timbers as ive gone off the stone look plus i need to move it further down the garden due to the kids wanting a bigger lawn area, ill take some snaps once i make a start and keep adding them to my folder you can view them on the link below

hello cat :p feet feet feet haha long time no see

Very nice phone george just looked at it,I have a NOKIA 7200 ,When you get your phone let me know, I'll try to send you the tone,i have a crazy frog picture to you can have  I got the tone of someone to ;)

Hello Bri I'm sticking to ponds now lol.

I really missed Paul's feet :p

Cat your Back, Oh how I missed you! (You still owe me another pic young lady)

You can get liners of any size pretty much, if your willing to have a weld or two in there, The cheapest good liners are those bought from roofers, If you contact a local roofing contractor you can buy an edpm liner of virtually any size, for about 1/3rd to 1/10th the price of a pond outfit and often with delivery, Much better than being taken by some website IMO.

Glad to have you back :)

Thank you cat. Will let you know about phone.(just had a look at the "7200)...very nice

Oooo.....just noticed that the "frog" ringtone i have on pc,is an "mp3" so maybe it will play on new phone.

Ill try it.......when it eventually arrives....ggrrrrr
