from what i've heared about the senegals as long as the fish its with are not small enough to fit in the mouth its fine . i thought itd be the snakeheads poisslby going for the bichir, there max size is rouhgly the same .

yes but at moment the snakeheads are just over 1inch.....babiesssss
Then once bigger the tables will turn.. i have a 9inch senegal birchir in with 7 snakeheads

Ahh thats ok, whats the minimum tank size for them at that size? do they grow fast? been waiting on my bichir for over a month now so may not get that for some time . do they need special foods and that at that size?

a two foot would be ok for a while, i send food with them aswell,my own mix, enough to last

Thats cool it sounds good any idea on how many i could fit in the tank once theyre fully grown?

well going by my aggression before they paired off would be a pair but to get a pair you would need atleast 5....then sell the rest.....

What can go with these? i know they're best kept with species but id imagine there's other fish that can go with them, plec's? other snakeheads?
Basically don't want just one fish but don't want them to breed, is it possible to have two females or 2 males or will they fight? obviously at 1inch you wont be able to tell.



how many more have you got coming or are they not regularly breeding? tied up for the next couple of weeks . and want to be 100% before scrapping what i've got
