I voted for dogs, as i have one and they are (generally) much more cuddly, affectionate, grateful (something which cats never are), and eager to please.
Dogs see their owner as their owner, Cats see the owner as the servant.
true cats are very independant, i think what you have to ask yourself here is how much time are you willing to invest in this pet. Dogs need constant attention which can be annoying, remember when a dog wants or needs exercise you are responsible for that. Cats are much easier, when they need exercise they go and do it themselves plus i find the a much cleaner than dogs and make your home smell less.
yes, it rather depends on your lifestyle, if you dont have too much time, have a full time job, and have an immaculate house that you want to keep that way, then its probably best to have a cat. But, if things like that are not an issue, then the extra attention that a dog needs is well worth it IMO
I'm more of a dog person, funny though because i have 2 cats and zero dogs. Hey what can i say, the cats found me, i didn't find them. Also im still renting so having a dog is harder but when i get a house i'm getting atleast 2 dogs(a pug and a weiner dog for sure!).
I didn't vote for either, because I love both, can't pic between the two. Although, I agree it depends on your lifestyle, I work 2 jobs and live in an apartment, so I've found cats work better for me.
