Breeding Red Fin Shark Question

I'd just like to know this, just incase i ever deside to get a tank other than my 90 gallon. I'd like to breed the two color variations of Red Tail, the normal, and the white version. Is this possible? I'd also like to know if it's possible to breed normal Tiger Barbs with Red Tiger Barbs. thanks.

I don't recall ever seeing an account of captive breeding of the "sharks". I would imagine, if breeding was possible, that regular coloured and white ones would interbreed and the results would be a bunch of mongrels.

The different coloured TB's readily interbreed with the same result.

I don't really see the point of crossing the various fixed colour lines. People spend years trying to filter the required genes out of the line, and you want to mix them up again.
