Breeding My Discus

 Its nice to view the world from a side view. SO they are hatching today then? How exciting! :hyper:

They have been wriggling so hard that a whole bunch of them knocked each other off the cone, and are now break dancing in the catch lip at the bottom! Looks like a school dance

 They are already having sibling squabbles. How cute!

Everything would have been OK if it wasn't for them pesky kids! Huuuuuuun Shraggy!

Some how the parents managed to suck the fry from behind the wire last night, so I have given them a second cone so that they can pretend to move them around. Hopefully that will stop them trying to put the fry on the overflow pipe as they have before.

Good idea!
fingers crossed it works!

Fry went free swimming, and then were eaten buy the parents

After this coming week I am taking 2 weeks of work, so will look at every detail and spend 14 days just concentrating on sorting this out once and for all.

They laid last night again, but only about 50 eggs

. I am leaving the wire off, as I think it annoys them. Also with such a small batch of eggs I won't be to fussed if they eat them.

Maybe the wire off will let them learn something. My young have now outgrown my mouth. Haha. They are safe.
