Wrigglers are looking strong, plus Mum and Dad are being good parents

How long till they attach to mum and dad? Do they swim through the grill or do you remove it?

I am expecting them to start swimming around Wednesday night, or Thursday morning. I will leave the grill on and they can swim through. I don't think the parents would eat any now, but it just stops them moving the fry around the tank, and putting them in a awkward place. What I will do when they start to swim is lower the water level down to about 6 inches, for 24 hours. This will help the fry find the parents as there will barely be enough water to cover the parents backs, so the fry will have to bump into them as they move around. After that I will raise the level back to normal. Here's hoping

Things are looking very good. I was watching them, and the odd wriggler would escape from behind the wire, and Mum would grab them and move them to one of the pipes. Then, when she wasn't watching, Dad would take them off the pipe and spit them behind the wire again!

Is like the great escape, Mum is the "Cooler King" and Dad is the prison guard..... I think they are planing tunnels "Tom, Dick and Harry" ! Over the wire guys!!!!!!!
