For what I know... that vould be where they laid them. Or on the rock two inches away. Have been busy from the fourth till sunday and paid no extra attention to them. Dropped food and carbon in and was back to what we had going on. Then monday night I saw that they were digging in my plants and got up next to the tank to have a "talk" with them. Started harping on them and I noticed the hole had something moving in it. I grabbed my phone like I was gonna call you.. lol then I took a video eith it. Not great but I think it did pretty d a rn well for how close I had to be and the angle I was at. Couldnt believe it actually focused for me. I would be happy if a couple survive. Dont know what I would do with a bunch of them. Fill my 135 gal with them... lol

Hahaha a swarm of bolivians!!! I think the vid had really good clarity, you could see them really well. my phone cam is ok but it has no flash. i haven't tried a vid yet though. i do a lot of lecturing with my fish too

That's so exciting. i wonder what the babies will look like. how many eggs do you think there are? It looked like quite a few

Im not really sure how many there are. Gussing fifty to a hundred? She has two holes dug and moves them back and fourth. Really good parents especially since its the first attempt! Guess they had good parents growing up. Lol. Well from what I read thats how they learn. Kinda like people do. They should be free swimming soon.

good idea on the aquabid or ebay. Im just worried about shipping them... lol

That's a good amount for the first attempt!! I don't blame you about the shipping, I've thought about that too with my angel and cory eggs. wait til they're teeny tiny babies, then you'll really be nervous lol

Well I think momna likes having the tank to themselves. Got the babies out from hiding this morning got them in my updaed totm pic. Thats pretty exiting. Its cute how different the mum and dad are with diff fish. They just nudge the ottos to get them away and pick up the snails snd move them. But the other ram got rammed and bitten and chased... lol. Guess I see why. Wow I wonder how many will make it

That's so funny. my angels just kinda nudge the ottos too well, in my fish egg experience lol, making it to free swimming stage is huge. I'm thinking as long as you don't have any water spikes, you should have a pretty good amount make it

So far so good. I accidently killed like 6 of them doing a water change. Was being very careful and matched the water temp to the tenth of a degree... still had a couple dead ones stuck to the filter. There are still like 50-60 in there though! Eating good and growing fast.

What do you think of my new retaining wall I just built? Its gonna dry for a few days before it goes in. I made it in 4 sections that will fit together like puzzle pieces. Im going to create a raised plant/driftwood area to yhe right side of the tank. Have been looking a lot for ideas and I think this will work out good
