I 've been reading the boards and it seems like a weekly water change is appropriate. I have 100 gal tank. 20 gallons a change isn't too easy i only have a 5 gallon bucket. So should it be weekly, or being that a larger tank is more self sustaining perhaps bi weekly or monthly. Thanks

With a tank that size, you should be fine doing your water changes bi-weekly, IMO. Just keep and eye on the tank and watch your water perameters. I woulnt go as far as doing monthly water changes, that is if the tank is heavily stocked.

One word for you my friend "python" these make water changes go with out any touble. I have 220 gal with my tanks and I do not carry a bucket.

Yeah, water out isn't the problem, its water in. How are you getting water into your tank and R U treating it before hand?

I add the water cond to the tank as I am refilling the tank. I have been doing it 3 years and have had no problems.
