My betta is turning clear and idk why. No signs of any disease like velvet or ick and water parameters are where they should be. I’ve read this is normal in marbled betta but just want opinions. Here is a terrible picture of what it looks like

I think he's just marbling. He's a koi betta, and they do that quite often.

Hey OP, do you have just a single corydora in there? What size is the tank?
I know that isn't why you posted, it's just that corydoras are a schooling species, so not ideal to keep one alone, and the tank looks like it might be a three gallon or something, so too small for a school of them. A lot of people get some bad advice from fish stores trying to sell them fish, so wanted to see whether you knew in case you'd been given bad advice, hope you don't mind my asking?
