Betta Colouring

Is it normal for a healthy Male Betta to have developed a silver/graycolouring on his chin and along the front underside of his body over the last 3-6 months?

It sounds like it's just his natural scales, many bettas tend to get little speckles and clour irregularities on them as they mature.

If he is acting fine I wouldn't be worried.

Yeah - it sounds OK. As long as he's acting fine and swimming OK, then I wouldn't worry.

Yep, 3 of my 5 bettas developed that. I've had one of them almost two years, and he's had that coloring ever since a couple weeks after I got him. It's nothing to worry about.
