Ben's 400l Wet Thing

def a elegence, is it on top of a moon coral skeleton or pineapple whatever common name you use for them :)

liking the yellow tang too looks brill!

Thx guys, The cats just propped up against and old skeleton that came with my LR. Ive got a really shallow sand bed and it would just fall over without it leaning on something.

added a big bit of reef bones yesturday, weighs in at 6KG. Most of the bits of rock i had before were small, so i got this. Really good shape aswel, plus i got it for a tenner :)
Stands out like someone really pale on the beach now though...needs time to colour up.

My Cat would swallow that Ben. :p
Good job mate, just popped in to see how you were getting along.
Did you have to put the reef bones through a cycle process.
Regards
C

oh i know mate, yours is a stunner.
The reef bones, the LFS said it was already washed and cured etc. So i just gave it a good scrub to be sure. Then it went in. I dont think its a big enough % of rock to affect anything anyway, but fingers crossed. Its the same colour that stream rock of yours was
What do you think of the fish then? any ideas on your wish list yet?

Looks great

Thanks :)

Your fish are excellent Ben,
For mine, although thats a long way off yet, and things might change in the meantime.... I am so not getting used to not being able to purchase shoals of fish on the salty side of things, so different from the freshies.
I'm would probably be leaning toward a Bannerfish group, as long as I can optain the ones that are said to be reef safe.
