got another today, my mum bought it me :eek:

I thought it was a monti, but its not. Cant remember what the guy said it was anyway.

It was out the frag side of the tank at wharf, but to me its colony sized again :)

il put more pics up, probably 2moro once its settled
 
I would agree that it definitely looks like a Hydnophora. Which is technically an LPS by most people's standards ;) Pretty demanding coral though, requires lots of light, flow, and pristine water to thrive

Cheers ski, i actually wondered once it was in the tank. As there is quite a bit of fleshy stuff between the polyps. It also took some food when i fed the tank and puffed up like the heads on LPS corals do

Grew a bit in the LFS tank over a few weeks though.
 
That's a nice new coral :nod: How about an up-dated FTS? What type of tank is the new one? Salifin? :unsure:
