Barney And Lyn's 5Ft Reef Tank (150G(Uk) System)

Wreck Fish are stunning I would try and squeeze another female in there if you can just to keep the Male busy :)

Cleaner Wrasse can be very difficult to start feeding but once they are feeding they can become solid fish + if you are lucky he will clean your fish which is v cool to watch :)

I use Marine Lipsome Spray on mine builds up immunity as well :good:

Its always good to keep the tank covered with Wrasse as some will dive into the sand others will dive up when spooked it becomes less of a problem once they settle in a bit more :)

Yeah. There was 1 female left at the LFS and I'm starting to wish we had got her as well. We only went in to buy a couple of non-return valves for the auto top up unit though and were already down £90 at this point so only got the two (and we still didn't get a non-return valves! :) )

Thanks for the heads up on the lipsome spray. I have seen a few people recommending this so will give it a go.

Oh yeah I forgot to mention. I think my clowns my have laid eggs. I cant see any in the tank but the orange clown looked like it had one stuck to its anal fin.

Woot what a guess One Gold Star to me :hyper:

What you need now is a Cirrhilabrus Rhomboidalis or a Lineatus :)

Adding my Fairey to my tank turned my McKoskers into a right show off almost always flashing now :good:

The Cirrhilabrus Rhomboidalis is an absolutely stunning fish. Unfortunately out of my price range though (apparently we aren't allowed to force the kids to go out to work due to some stupid child labour laws  ).

Hehe #40## the force labour laws am sure you can send them out on a paper round or 10 :p

I guessed at African or Maldives looking at the face but hard to tell unless you can see the Dorsal fin a lot of people over look a lot of these stunning wrasse to add Tangs personaly I prefer the Wrasse.

Seen a Yellow Tailed Tamarin been kept for a year being sold in a tank Breakdown just dont have room for anymore £30 compared to a Gem Tang if you can get one for less than a £500 - £1000

Nice fish Barney, so you have decided to try more anthias :good:

Morri, I suppose the Tamarin is near you?

Seffie x

Yeah. The first ones I lost was my fault for the most part. I cut the feeding down too much to sort phosphate issue out and they didnt respond well to it (neither did the chromis). the male one I had for over a year and was fine until I cut down feeding. Sadly I didnt realise this was the problem until too late. This time we are feeding small amounts 4 times a day (and skimming heavily with phosphate reactor, cheato and liquid phosphate removers in use).

Some photos of the new fish (wrasse move bloody fast and are hard to get good photos off, also the white balance on my camera wasnt set quite right so the anthias colours look completely wrong).

photos :)
