middle baby and little baby having dinner together.

Big baby is now always with the main group.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek!

Juts fed them and was about to do an update on here, when I spotted this...

I'm assuming it's a panda as they have previous form, though there are fairy cories in there too. Much easier to spot now that I've changed the sand over.

Before I saw the teeny one I was going to post to ask a question - there are eggs inside the flowerpot, and they have turned black - I was wondering if this was babies? Also, one panda stayed inside the pot whilst the others fed, this is most unusual for them and I wondered if it was guarding babies? Is this at all likely? I didn't notice any parental attention to the older 3 but then they were bigger when I first spotted them.

As for the original 3, the big one is pretty much the same size as the adult boys. I can only tell it apart as it has a taller fin. The littler two are almost the same size now, and all 3 usually hang out with the adults now, though occasionally the two littlies will go off together apart from the group.

Another question - all pandas, including the babies, seem to be losing the black from their dorsal fin - is this ok?

Not sure on your questions, but I hope one day my 8 pandas have some babies :) I eventually want to do a very large amazon tank with cory etc and would love to not have to purchase any more.

Lovely corys!!!

The coloration probably changes as they grow and the babies get to look like the adults. I don't see an issue with that.
