Aussie's 187 Gal Planted Tank

That bug.... catch it and get rid of it NOW!!!!

I had one of those in my tank one time that came in on some plants, and I didn't find it until after I had noticed some fish missing. I asked around on here and found out it's a dragonfly nymph. They're predators that usually eat mosquito eggs and larva, but seeing as how you don't have mosquitos breeding in your planted tank.... they're opportunistic and will eat whatever happens to be there, i.e. your fish!

Question: Do you use your UV? as apperently they take out good bacteria as well as bad, have you had any problems?

In the bottom right corner is the recovery spot. It is what is left of the Ambulia after being cover over by the Zosterfolia. But i havent clear all of the bits and pieces of plants yet, bit shack

well the plan is a dwarf cichlid breeder tank, but the yellows are in there casue they were getting picked on by the other yellows in my 75 gallon, but im upgrading that to a 180 in a couple of weeks. I using JBL aqua basics with normal black gravel on top. I was trying to get eco complete but way to much for us aussies to get it

I plan on getting some glosso and hair grass and planted in the front. I also wont to get some for anubias varitey plants and attach them to the wood prob with some java fern aswell. As i want to put more exotix plants in the tank, but that will wait untill this one grows out a bit, so it will be a bit easy to decide what ones to get.
