Thank you for the warm welcome . I'm from Narooma ,a small town on the far south coast of NSW. Narooma relies heavily on tourism -fish play a big role in that. Heaps of people come here to fish.Particularly marlin -it all started with zane grey. Man, they're destroying our oceans . About 7 nautical miles off our coast is Montague island. The Fisheries Dept. wants to make a no fishing zone around it to protect the grey nurse sharks (facing rapid extinction).Fishermen are complaining.
The day may come when aquarists play a role in preserving species.
