But, however, they're not....as explained several times "not all oddballs are predators"..cos some people don't keep them they think no one else deserves their own sections which is basically selfish and unfair to those on here who do.....
No, they're not. But the majority of them are. However, people 'in the know' about predatory fish also tend to be quite good at answering questions about the non-predatory ones. With two sections, those who keep mainly/only predators are more likely to stick to that section, therefore meaning the questions about non-predators are less likely to get the answers they deserve.
But to add to that, confusion as to what fish should go in what section definitely exists, and for example you still find a lot of people posting about predators in the oddballs section. But because people are expecting the posts in the predator section, again the questions are less likely to get the answer they deserve.
Neither section has enough traffic to overwhelm the other- when it was just oddballs, you can hardly say that questions regarding non-predators were ignored because there were so many predatory questions, and in a way, vice-versa- there aren't really enough non-predatory questions for it to need to be separate.
And presuming "Buddyboy67" is in some way refering to me, just because I don't have any non-predators at the moment, doesn't mean I haven't in the past, or indeed that I haven't posted threads about them either. I have now and have had in the past predators, plus have been here plenty long enough to make observations about how the forum works. I've seen forums that have been completely ruined by pandering to everyone and making a section for literally anything you can think of.
