They've got some absolutely gorgeous arrowanas in maidenhead aquatics in bold heath, they're about 6-8" at the moment. Oh I wish I had room for a big enough tank for one of them, they are so beautiful.

I just saw a 22" -24" Silver Arrowana at "the fish place" in North Tonawanda, NY

Wow what a cool fish! All White, with huge nickel size Blue eyes!


It made me think of a second tank, But no room.
They wanted 90. or 100$, But it is such a beautiful fish!


Now how do we get this big sucker home,.... buy another tank. So, how much for the tank he's in???

remember, most arowanas need larger tanks than the ones on display in the LFS. you really shouldn't get any arowana unless you have room for at least a 6'x2'x2' tank and preferably larger.

Hi cane76 They are silver arrowana,

I do realise that they need a HUGE tank pica_nuttalli. I haven't the room for one but I wish I did!! The tank in the lfs is a big display tank, there was about 7 or 8 arrowana in there but obviously wont be in there for long!! Its a pretty good store and the staff seem pretty knowledgeable so it is just a holding tank for them. I could have watched them all day! Never asked the price and I'm not sure what these fish go for.

they are great fish to watch,such elegant swimmers.i picked up a little 6" one the other day.they cost around £30-£40.

Well they get up to 3 feet in captivity so you're going to need a big tank.
