ok so the gars are out as i can only locate tiny specimins so theyle get eaten by the lima shovel nose

so i like the look of

green bay snook

also peacock bass


are they both a no go

also guessing a redtail is out the question (pretty sure it is)

this might be the maximum in stocking and i would think it should look cool like this
aslong as you feed the fire eel and bgkf at night then all looks good

You might get away with a bocourti or pearsei but it would depend on if they would get on with the Oscar and Severum.

A Midas would be far to aggressive

Nope, sorry you'd need a 2 foot wide tank for an asian or jardini and ideally a 3-4 foot wide tank for an adult silver or black

red tailed cats hit 5 feet, so again an 18" wide tank would be a problem,
Also it would eat the rest of your stock.

Kissing gouramis should work though,
