aquascaping

i just bought a buncha new plants for my brothers tank, and after i put everything in there.. it looks a little.. cluttered. apparently i dont have any aquascaping skills so could you guys help me redecorate? i want it to look natural and varied, but i dont know where to place the plants. constructive criticism would be great. thanks

Trying putting the plants in little patches towards the sides and leave a little blank space... that's the trick I use for a more natural look :)
 
thanks for the advice.. i moved all the plants to the sides of the tank, one of the rocks are in the middle.. and the wood thing isnt driftwood, it's some log thing that looks kinda cool. i'll try to get another picture of the updated tank to get some feedback on it. thanks again!
 
but bir pieces of bogwood in the centre attach some plants to the bogwood rest of them behind and scatter stones around the tank to give some places for eggs. (if they come)
