so can any1 reccomend a good setup?

I'm a Berlin (with sand bed) enthusiast, and like Andy says it's the only way I would run a tank (or recommend anyone else to do so). However I have seen for myself that it is entirely possible to run a marine tank with an undergravel filter.

Power filters are a different story in my opinion, and although they may be a little unsightly, I would recommend them to anyone without a sump.
