Fish Herder
Ok I have now officially lost all of my fry which would have been 16 days old today! The last one died during the night! I have no idea what caused it!
It all started on Saturday morning when I got up and could not see a single baby swimming about the tank so I figured they were all dead so I went about stripping the tank and emptying it! I managed to find around 14 fry still alive! So I snagged them all up and placed them in some water in a jar inside my other tank! Then throughout Saturday the fry started to drop off one by one by Sunday I was left with only 2 fry alive and then yesterday I had 1 left which seemed to be doing ok and was even attacking his reflection! Then this morning when I woke up he was dead also!
I seriously have no idea what could have killed them all off they had been eating really well and doing great! Could it have anything to do with me just feeding them bbs? I'd been doing small water changes every couple of days with water boiled in a kettle then left for 24 hours before changing! Any suggestions welcome as have a batch of 5 day old fry and so want to try and get them to grow up
