ok fine but i would than probaly go for so micro rasboras as i have no use for dwarf gouramis as they would be horrible tankmates for a female betta

you could just scrap the betta and get a dwarf gourami 6 cpds and a handful of ghost shrimp.

not gonna im setting up a 30 gallon for breeding purposes  and i only going to get one more gourami a female for my male honey gourami

Chilli rasboras would be a good match, they can take the temperature & are colourful & peaceful.
You could have a nice group of 12

didn't know about your gourami plans, so yeah just go with the betta and a shoal of rasboras and call it good.
