PMSL just so any impending mothers don't freak, I tried to explain that giving birth felt more like a large poo than anything else. A VERY large poo. OK Matt, let's stop being childish now shall we :nod: :rolleyes: :lol:

hahaha.......... you're mental. :crazy:

And that's why i love you. :lol:

Ohh i have a range less than 5 mins from me, will have to take a look :shifty:

Just thought I'd let you all know of another small cheap tank, it's alot smaller then the one on offer with wilkos / aldi but has a few extra features. I personally don't like how small it is and wouldn't consider keeping anything in it(maybe juvenile cherry shrimp) but each to there own :D Anyway they had the following 'aqua box' by fish r fun in my local garden centre for £18.99, specs are as follows;

The Aquabox is a great way to enjoy fishkeeping on a smaller scale, but with many of the benifits usually only seen in larger, more expensive Aquariums.

Aquabox is a glass Aquarium which comes complete with an internal Power filter with adjustable flow rate, clear rigid plastic cover, built in drawer for keeping food, water conditioners etc. to hand, an adjustable light unit which also features a 5w LED bulb for 'moonlight' effect once the main light is switched off.

Aquarium Capacity - 5.5 litres

Aquarium Dimensions - 21 x 19 x 28cm

Supplied in a full colour display box

If they had it in a larger size I'd snap it up as some of those features such as the moonlight & drawer are very appealing.

Excuse the ignorance, but using the aquarium calculator 21 x 19 x 28cm equates to 11 lts/2 gallons! Where's the missing 5.5 lts gone?? :lol:

It's a fair point, BUT it's a cube, the height includes the light, the width and depth includes the stand. So it's actually 18 x 18 x 18, I just measured one.

I just went by the info on the box / on the site :p I'm glad so many of you have seen this post as now you can get yourself one for another betta :good:

I was just stating my opinion that I would not house anything apart from maybe shrimp in anything under 20Litres I didn't say there was anything wrong with it just that I personally don't like how small it is. It was tempting at first because I would like to have another betta someday and it's cheap & small so I could squeeze it in anywhere but I'd prefer to get something a little larger.
