Our angelfish has started to eat our tetras and he needs a new home . We got him along with a tank from a friend who had kept them together , i read that they were prone to this but wasn't concerened as there was no signs of this happening . I don't have a suitable tank to keep him in seperately so would ideally like him to go tom someone locally if they'd like him for free . Can't blame the fish as he's just doing what comes naturally .

Anyone in Ayrshire interested or can help i'd appreciate hearing from you .

ummmm correct me if im wrong, but im pretty sure this is the new world cichlid section? and the topic doesnt appear to have been moved?
and if i was in your are id love to take him! my girl is starting to look lonely by herself, but then i havnt had any luck keeping two at a time in the one tank.

If you go to the African Cichlid forum you'll see that it's been moved. :)

I hope you find a good home for your angel. :)

Might do even better on the Buy & Sell board ;)

Good luck homing him - in the meantime - try adding plenty of plants, I keep 5 angels in my 6ft with around 100 small fish, not lost one to an angel yet - it's heavily planted.

The tank isn't heavily planted but there is plent of plants and cover the angel just bulldozes through when it swoops to catch the other fish . Thanks for the reply .
