a7xAda he did indeed add one angel, and it didn't work out, he changed plans in post #22 and got a pair. So everyone is right, lets keep this friendly, I for one want to see how this goes as they look like lovely fish.

Sorry I made such a fuss, Like Rob said. I tried adding a new angel and yes I did return them to the LFS where he kindly traded me for the black pair you see in the photos.
 
At the moment there fins are quickly healing up, But the shock with the dead fish and ammonia spike has not help there shyness. Am hoping I can recover this but am down one tetra now.

Sorry to hear that Techen, we had 3 pair in my son's tank but one mysteriously vanished.  Sometimes we leave the top off since it's an acrylic tank & it's possible he jumped ship and my cat ate him.............

From reading your posts you seem to be doing all the right things but have no luck (both with angels and the emporers) - yet some people seem to throw anything in a tank without research and somehow get lucky.

Ohyes, I do my research as to what is fine with the other. There's no point having a battle of the fishes

Well am giving away my last angel to a new home. Am done with angels now.
 
My LFS gave me two very great looking german rams so yea.

Rams! My water is too hard for gbr's, but I have bolivians and I love em! Very cool fish

Wow... good luck with the rams lol, more finicky than angels are! Do you know why the angel died? They looked fine!
