DON'T BE AFRAID TO ASK IF YOU NEED AN ANSWER

There are a great number of helpful people in this forum, who can help you enjoy your hobby to the fullest. If you get any problems, don't be afraid to ask. If you get any smart arse remarks, just ignore them (I know its easier said than done, but you can do it!).

At then end of the day, you're looking for answers, so my advice is to look for people who've actually got these fishes (that you have), or have experienced problems such as yours. Check out their past topics, or their personal profiles/sigs for the fishes.

I'm big enough to admit I've said some 'stupid' things in my time, but hopefully, not yet offended any newbies.

I apologise if this sounds obvious to you, but hopefully you will see my honourable intentions.

I agree 100%. Ignoring things that are obviously designed to incite and inflame is by far the best way to handle them. Plus, alerting a mod that there is a troublesome post is helpful :)

True True!

There is however the ability to search the forums for previous posts on what your looking for. The search icon works great and will give you the oppertunity to look for an answer before posting a new thread on the topic. It will also help you to learn who knows what they are talking about :)

I listen best when I'm not being shouted at.

Well newbies, you've got three members here who'll support you (all the way).

Good on you guys! :D

ok well then i will say this... i had a betta 5(ish) weeks ago die the first day i had it... but that was because the bag broke on the way home...

he was red white and blue and his name was uncle sam.... :X

lol yeah i didnt tell any one here about that (or did I?)

I'm dead chuffed (very happy) to see that this topic thread had not yet 'died'. It really proves that there are many 'experienced' members who'll happily help them.

Remember, don't be afraid to try out something new for yourself. If you think its worth taking a risk, first consult your forum buddies of this idea, listen to what they have to say, and then decide for yourself whether its worth having a go.

At the moment, I'm experimenting with a variety of foods. Hopefully, once I get the results will publish it to the benefit of our forum buddies.

I just had a quick question. I want to post a new topic. I've written it out and everything but I can't seem to find the place where it says something like "Post Message" or something like that at the bottom of the screen. I'm sure thousands of people can answer this question so please help. It's greatly appreciated. :)
