An email from herbal essences

Because most of us own cats and not everyone owns a cow or a snake

I just have to say that cattle make far, far better pets than a cat ever would. They are friendly, don't bite, and you can teach them stuff, such as to let you ride them.

I have been using Herbal Essences for years, and it was really good for my hair. Kept it form getting greasy and everything., Then Plecoperson comes back form town one day with a whole pile of leaflets on animal testing etc, and I find out that Proctor and Gamble who make a huge range of items, test their products on animals.

Proctor and Gamble make Iams food, and Herbal E. Ariel washing powder, always sanitary towels, loads of stuff.

I can accept animal testing for medicine, because there isn't any alternative, and people would die if they didn't have these cures. Other animals would also die without the sacrifice of these animals, as veterinary medicine is tested on animals as well.

I might email Herbal Essences and ask them why they don't put a warning on their products. I felt sick when I found out I had unwittingly been supporting their evil practices.

One thing Iams have done is to feed 18 Great Dane puppies some of their food for a period of time, then take out bones from their legs, then stress the bones until they break. What is the frickin point?
