Im getting ready to battle the blue green algae in my tank by turning off the lights in the tank for a while because the java ferns are getting brown spots and small holesI keep amazon swords as well but I don't use fertilizers. They just do fine over here... And they reproduce new plants as well.

I thought about that, I just dont wanna stick a random object into the tankMeasure the substrate by pushing a ruler through it and see what it says.
