Wow, nice post Scott!

The APS 2000EF filter is normally £75, but reduced to £60, its an absolute steal... I might go there straight away to order!

Thanks for the heads-up, just ordered a new filter, at nearly £15 off, its a steal :D

I could not help myself, I've just ordered a pair of 2000EF filters for £120!

Means I can run two externals on the 5-footer, one on the Rio240 alongside the Juwel internal, plus one on the 620T (probably the Eheim 2078).

Also means the Persian Killifish in the Korall60 get a Fluval U4 (from 620T) to replace the Juwel mini, with its single pad and whopping 280lph output (fine as a QT filter, but not much else)!

I hope the code works as that's the best price option I have seen for a external. I need one for my Rio 180 as the filter went a few days ago and needs a urgent replacement.

Guess the APS seems to be getting good reviews

Thanks

I have too :hyper: Far too good a deal to pass up on!

I bought the 1400l version a few months ago; my first external filter, and I've been really, really pleased with it. Was very easy to to set up, even for a noob, and mantainance is no problem (well, I have spilt a little bit of water on the floor, but I always do that during water changes anyway; I'm right clumsy, me :D)

Cheers guys

I used the code and got the 2000l/h and the complete kit - all in for £85

I guess I wont need to buy many more media for the rest of the year.

Thanks

just ordered £95 worth got it for £75 thanks

I have the Vision 260, is it worth getting the 2000ef rated for 1000 litre tank or will the next one down suffice for a group of plecs in the Vision. I am going to run a Fluval internal alongside it aswell to add to the flow in the tank and get some more biological media in there!

there isnt much price difference so you might aswell go as big as possible :good:

That's what I was thinking really. Think I will do that and then see what internal filters I have knocking around that can double up as additional biological filtration. If I don't have decent enough filters then will prbably just go with 1/2 powerheads I think.

Ta for this, I already had the EF2000 but have now bought a whole load of additional media for it. I'd have had to buy it anyway, but with 20% off :good: :hyper:
