The quartz cover on my UV bulb was already in place when I got it. Sometimes after a filter clean if I spill water around the hose block connectors on the motor head, water gets into the motorhead and then comes out when I tip it to get the air out but soon stops.

I'm currently having trouble priming one of mine. I purchased 2 (1000ex), and have one of them up and running no problem, however I can't understand why the other one won't work. The blue button that you press seems really stiff, and after you've pressed it, instead of springing back to its previous position straight away, it takes forever to go back to normal. It doesnt seem to be able to get the water running down the pipe (no kinks, just a straight line) and the two "In" and "Out" pipes are in the correct attachments. I've also filled it 3/4 like the instructions say.

I just cant understand why it wont work.

Any Ideas?
