All I Wanted Was A Relaxing Afternoon!

did 2 night shifts in a row without any sleep as my neighbour is doing some DIY! so yesterday afternoon decided the tank needed a water change.. oh and while im at it id better add a bag of carbon to the Ehiem filter to get rid of the tannins

13 bath towels later, 2 changes of clothes,lots of swear words from me! and 2 very annoyed sons ( they were left to vac up the water off the floor) the tank is now looking quite clear

totally my fault ,as when i installed the filter i didnt put the taps on it..but of course i kept that bit of info to myself yesterday

relaxing hobby .. my eye!!!

A couple of weeks ago I woke up to 20 gallons of water missing from my tank. Opened up the cupboard to see that the boyfriends cat had chewed holes in the air tubing and there was 20 gallons of water on my floor... I spent the next week cleaning up and resetting up my tank....

biffster: i wish.. it was half term as well so not a hope in h#ll . and besides i got a gorgeous suntan in the garden

Shhhhhhhh, that was our little secret, yes indeed, every wall, every piece of furniture, myself, my kid, the floor, the TV, in fact even the ceiling was drenched and I only moved him from one tank to the other 7ft away

Know the feeling I am trying to shoo the kids out of the way so I can see whats gone wrong with the filter on the turtle tank, more than likely they have killed another filter!

i know exactly how you feel at this moment in time
i have just had my head done in to day and i cant take a drink
coz i am on antibiotics for a chest infection which started last
week there doing my head in as well playing hell with my guts
