I don't think thats the main issue here (although its not helping). From what I can gather its the use of inappropriate language on a forum where there is people of all ages from many backgrounds that my be offended.

Hi,

My names Craw.I live in Scotland....its dark and cold there.I would like to live somewhere real sunny and warm.........but dont! I have a reasonable job,but would like to have more cash to go out and party with........but I dont!
So,with the weather gettin worse,and the money running low,I don't have a great deal to look forward to in my spare time.
Then one day I stumble across a site about tropical fish,with plenty of info on the fish I keep,so I go in........
Seems like the average chatroom,nowt special at first,met a few people,had a chat,then left.
But a couple of nights later i'm back,coz i'm bored.
And some of the people i'd previously chatted to were there,and introduced me to others.
We chatted some more.
Then the next time i was bored i thought............
"think i'll go online to see if the guys are in the chat room?"
and sure as my ass points south..........they were!
And I was happy.................for once!
This became a ritual,and i've met dozens of folk worldwide that share a common interest with me....fish.
I now know people who collect the same fish as me,and have heard of some fish for the first time,as well as learn much more about my hobby of fishkeeping.
I have had many a question answered on the chatroom,and have been priveliged to give advice to others who need it.
So , one dark,wet night I come home from wo0rk,its a week to payday,i'm broke,and I find that the chatrooms gone.......I'm not a happy bunny!!!

To cut a long story short (ha) ............

This facility is awesome...it is well run,and well managed,by people who know exactly what they are doing.Its a great way to communicate and exchange tales from around the globe.Its ideal to meet new people,and the people involved in running this site should stand up and be proud.
It will take more than a few random muppets to taint its good name.

Lets get it back on,its sadly missed!

After some further investigation i would like to make it clear that the posts made by "fred" were not posted by either mark or sheila from the other board and that neither of them was responsible for the abusive posts that lead to the chatroom being closed. It would seem that some other person (who was also responsible for the abusive posts) who for now will remain unnamed has tried to use this situation to create as much bad blood between the forums as possible.
Hopefully this situation is now going to be resolved and this whole saga can be put behind us all.

THANK YOU CFC for setting the situation straight. I, for one, was having a great deal of difficulty sorting it out in my mind, as I was rather certain that both sides were telling the truth as they saw it. I personally really appreciate your posting this here.

Thank you CFC! I also was left with nothing to believe.....it was and is too much of a mess to deal with, so I left it in the dust......I love both forums~!!!!
