....confusing, maybe. However the point had been made, a problem has been issued and a solution will need to be instilled. Pretty much the whole point when you ask me. It's plain and simple, this is Williams' forum, also smbs' I believe, and shared by many moderators and many many many members....and to make a really long story short, however they felt and feel is the right way to run THEIR forum....is most definately the RIGHT way...END OF STORY!!!!

Just to prove that William is pefectly justified in the banning of the "tank talk two" i paid a visit to their chatroom last night and blatently advertised TFF in there to see what their reaction would be since they thought it was ok to do that here, well for my troubles i had my moderator status revoked and recieved a pm telling me that advertising other sites in their chatroom was out of order, now if thats not two faced then i dont know what is

You admited that you are banned, therefore even entering the site is forbidden and you are effectivley tresspassing, posts from banned members will be removed.

Noone else here will know this but I just deleted 2 of your posts that were just nothing but cutting this forum down. You guys at that other site are really making a good showing.
You actually had some members here backing you if you would have read through this thread.
William and I have all the info in our logs that would prove why we needed to come to this conclusion but we wanted to be mature about all of this and not create a hate war. Everyone here just wanted it to go away.
We chose to be neutral about it and let the members still continue to go to both sites and not know anything different, even tho we might lose members for taking this stand, and were obviously in the right, we still tried to protect you after all you've done to us and we still remained silent among our own members complaints against us for trying to have class and not stoop to your level.
This decision could have ruined this site if they didn't believe in us but we were steadfast in our feelings to do nothing more than provide a help site for people that love their fish and needed help and for a community that will hopefully be strong and be close.
If we were out to hurt you we would have implicated you guys and told what we knew. We chose not to but you guys show what class that site has on your own.
We don't go to your site, why do you come here and try to ruin the fun here? That does noone any good, especially the members here that come to try and get help. Isn't that why we have these forums? This forum is about helping people and that is what we concentrate on. Apparently the basis of your existence there is not to help people but to terrorize other forums if they are more successful than yours? I'm not sure, it's just a guess.
You asked me to be a mod there and I turned you down and I'm glad I did, especially if this is how you operate. I don't know about anyone else but I would be embarassed to be associated with anyone that uses such tactics as you.
You guys can keep going from proxy to proxy and get new IP's and I'll keep banning and banning you and we can play this game until I go to bed, then I'll get up, go to work come back and continue this childish game. Is that what you want?
OR we can go back to helping people with their fish problems. Now there's a novel idea.
I would think that you would rather work on your site than cause all this trouble here at this one.
I hope that the members that stood up for you see this so they can really see how you are over there. We never gave anyone any info and were getting killed by the members here for it, but we still didn't do it and took it and hoped for the best.

If people still want to join your site after all this, then that is up to to them but we want to distance ourselves from a site that lacks tact and class such as yours does and we will take a zero tolerence policy about it from here on out.
No more responding and deletion and banning without explanation is the result. Our members do not need to be involved in this soap opera you seem so content to keep going.

I really can't believe why other sites will slate and attack this website, as far as I can see its doing no wrong apart from being friendly and incredibly successful, people are good in fact I get a lot of enjoyment just coming on here helping out, chatting and making the odd joke The only reason that I can see for anyone wanting to spoil this is pure jealousy and that I'm afraid is incredibly sad.
I've almost finished testing the security bot for helping the chat room and hopefully we can get it back to normal soon and continue enjoying ourselves as the great crowd of people that most of us our.
I have to say I'm behind the mods on this all the way, I've been using the web for over 10 years now and I've seen this type of thing time and time again, the only way any website can be successful is through a lot of time and hardwork, NOT by trying to eliminate the competition!!!
