Hi guys, my bristlenose pair have had their second batch of wee ones.

Of the first batch , only one or two made it, but they look like their folks.
The second batch, 4 have survived (I didn't separate them from the rest of the tank), but 2 of them are SNOW WHITE.
It's been weeks now, and initially I thought they were just "slow starters", but they still haven't changed colour.

Has anyone else seen this before. 2 of the 4 are black and white, and the other 2 are white.....

I think they're very cute, but is something wrong?

Please help.

You sometimes get naturally born 'albino's ;) So Iwould say that there's nothing wrong ;)

If they are orange - they are albino...
If they are Really light - then they will darken in time.

You may find they will die (unfortunatly there will me some casualties in every spawn) they may be the 'runts of the litter' and out compeated for food.

we had a few white ones a couple of days ago... just looked to see if i could get a picture for you but i cant spot any (typical!)

Thanks guys for the help. They've lasted for a few weeks now and are getting quite big, so I hope they won't be dying off.
They're really cute, I kinda hope they stay white, but if they darken, it's okay too, as long as they're happy and healthy.
