No, ammonia should be down and nitrite should have climbed or with media added you should see nitates now. Your media wasn’t exposed to chlorine, was it? I’d be tempted to do a 25% water change and see if it helps. This is strange.

I already have high nitrates I tested it a couple of days ago, no my media wasn’t exposed to chlorine, I will do all 3 test this evening and see what the results are before I do a 25% water change?

Now I’m really don’t know what to do, my ammonia is 1ppm , my nitrite is 2ppm, and my nitrate is 160ppm, I have attached photos do you agree with the results? What do I do, wait for The ammonia and nitrite to drop? or do a 25% water change? The things that are in the tank is a heater, filter , co2 difsusser (not connected to the canister) a ornament, jbl aquabasic plus and jbl mando substrate

Hi, I’ve done a 50% water change because nothing was happening I think it’s because I might have put to much ammonia to begin with, I’ve tested the water after the water change, my ammonia is now 0ppm and my nitrite is .25, what should I do? Add a bit of ammonia to get it up to 1/2ppm or wait till the nitrite gets to 0? Then do a water change then add plants and fish? Thanks

Think I’ve might have finally cycled it, what you guys think?
