Depending on the plec thay like most veg algea wafers (mine like the hikari ones) and carnivore pellets (hikari aswell) or cat fish pellets. most plecs like nothing better than to munch on a piece of bogwood (mine dont mind the piece of mopani i have in my tank but is can be a bit hard for them) there not keen on flake food but will hoover up the left overs on the substrait if there in the mood
My big guys love flake, they will come and hang out upside down waiting for it when you open the lid, but you shouldn't aim for it to be a food as such. Think of it as an optional extra they might like. Plec wafers, catfish pellets and some veggies are better.
Most commonly available plecs will come out for some courgette or similar, or prawns if they are omnivores. Weight veggies down with a spoon (stainless steel one) Try cucumber, potato, sweet potato etc, some prefer tehm blanched but mine do fine with them raw, just scrub them well to get rid of any nasties.
Not sure about clown loach as I don't keep them but my other loaches all enjoy a varied diet that includes flake, carnivore pellets, algae wafers and live or frozen foods.
Courgette, sweet potato and butternut squash all go down well with my fellas.

is this for the plec just or would the clown loach eat them as well??

Do you just have the 1 clown loach? if so he will not be happy, they are very sociable fish that Need to kept with their own kind.
Like the plecs they will eat most veg but they also need some meat in their diet, i.e. bloodworms etc.
before safely giving the dietry requirements of a particular plec you really need to know what plec you have first...
