How about BN?

Whatever gave you that idea, TT?

So few people keep them cos they are hated in The hobby cos they are so often mistreated and are out Ina community.

DSL= dedicated subscriber line

LFS= local fish store

DSL's not a fish one so that one stays out but LFS is already in there. ;)

I think it's been mentioned before but we're in danger of treading over the line between usefulness and laziness. If we're trying to appeal to all fish keepers on here, experienced or novice, I think we should be typing Bristlenose or Black Ghost Knifefish rather than BN and BGK, not disappear in a sea of Acronyms.

Just my opinion mind.. :)

Well, BN has been out there forever, but the knife fish I think most people type out anyway. I see your point, though.

I added BN becuase it is one I very often see.

Ha, just came to ask for BGK = black ghost knife, as just responded to this topic.  However, it is not a 100% requirement as the topic is about them anyway so anyone with a bit of sense can figure it out ;)

I do however note that MTS seems to have just become the addiction to tanks and the snails are no longer part of it, what is the reasoning behind this please?  I tend to use MTS for both terms, hence when they were both in there I was able to state the former or the later in respect to what I was responding to.
