How long as i have 2 new hermits to do at the same time! Drip method is the way i use

test the sg and see what the difference is Weeza, the bigger the difference the longer the acclimatisation

OK! Thanks seffie, will go do that in a sec. I had 3 bags worth of water that will take longer tho too won't it!

Well their water is .025 and mine is .026 so slightly higher due to evaporation. Got RO going atm but not too much difference. I emptied about a bags worth of water out as there was loads in there!

It's worth noting that SG isn't the only parameter you're acclimatizing for, differences in Ca[sup]2+[/sup] and Mg[sup]2+[/sup] as well as other ions can lead to an upset in osmolarity.
